We have a network of forty-five franchised dealers who are dedicated and committed to providing the “Total Tyre Management System” to fleets in Southern Africa. Thomas Tyres is the largest and oldest of these dealers and have 15 branches and 3 factories. They also adhere to the stringent certification program as practised by the global Bandag Dealer Network.

Thomas Tyres is in a position to adequately service your tyre needs and together with Bandag have compiled a Tyre Management Service and Supply Program.

On site services

Services that can be expected will include:

• Pick up & delivery of tyres
• Fitting & Stripping of tyres
• Technical staff at your disposal
• Documentation of tyre movements
• The handling and administration of tyres and rims for stock purposes and their allocation to the vehicles

The correct replacement of tyres in your fleet complying with:

Quality assurance

The Bandag Dealer Network countrywide ensures that there is consistency of quality of product as each factory operates according to the stringent certification program as developed by Bandag in the USA. Thomas Tyre factories in Meyerton, White River and Standerton are Bandag certified.

Tyre Banding

Should you require, all tyres supplied will be branded with a unique brand number, and a Thomas Tyre id slug. To indicate number of times retreaded, the letters of the casing make will be buffed off (one for every life).

Prosurvey

Bandag have developed a comprehensive computerised survey report. A survey will be carried out on a quarterly basis, or as required, at your depot. Thomas Tyres has a dedicated data capturing team and a report is forwarded to you within days. Prosurvey will store all your history and compare it to the current survey.

Scrap tyre analysis

Thomas Tyres offers this service and it can be conducted on a regular basis (as specified by you) by Thomas tyres personnel and the OOSTA report will provide you with the information to limit recurring problems in the fleet contributing to premature tyre failure.
