History
Thomas Tyres has been in business for 45 years. Omri Thomas, Founder of Thomas Tyres has dedicated 27 years of his life in making sure that the philosophy of customer service excellence is still alive today. In 1964, together with his two sons, Deon and Eugene Thomas, the first Thomas Tyres shop and Bandag factory opened its doors in Meyerton. Three years later Thomas Tyres Vereeniging was established. And from there it just went from strength to strength. 16 more branches opened its doors to the public as well as three more Retread Factories.
Knowing that somehow, the bigger the business grows, the more personalized attention to customers will come in jeopardy. All but 6 branches were sold. Today Thomas Tyres have grown again to 17 branches and three retread factories. And so, the legacy lives on.
